Let's help make the Catholic Faith come Alive for your parish families or classroom this Lent! Your families/students have the opportunity to walk alongside you and experience the Treasures of Faith Lenten Journey throughout Lent.

The Wilderness Adventure Catholic VBS Program 2026.

Gear up for a one-week hike through the wilderness and lead kids to discover amazing things about Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Marriage, and Holy Orders.

Welcome to Your Cathletics Vacation Bible School!

The Cat.Chat Cathletics VBS is designed as an easy-to-use, flexible five-day program. Generally, summer programs run from Monday to Friday, approximately 9am to 12pm.

Ideally, children should be divided into groups according to their age. The children will rotate between five Main Stations: Faith, Crafts, Games, Music, and Snacks. Adult and Teen Volunteers (Group Leaders) lead their group of children through the five different stations.

Each station is designed to reinforce the day’s central teachings and enhance the child’s faith learning experience.

Yes, you will have the benefit of having both the physical/hard copy resources, plus access to the digital platform (all the digital files) to share with your VBS team leaders.

The price is an advantage: you save $30, plus there are no shipping and handling fees. The disadvantage in going with digital-only: you have no hard copy books or items to work with.

After your purchase, You will find your VBS in the My VBS menu on the top menu of this website, each time you log in, then enter the paswword you wer given at the time of your purchase.

If you are a leader of one of the stations, contact the person in your parish who ordered the VBS program. At the time of purchase, they were emailed a simple step -by-step process and an access password.

Approximately 1 volunteer for every 5 or 6 kids

We suggest a variety of age-appropriate activities throughout our VBS programs. The music, action song videos and Bible verse videos are very suitable for preschoolers.
We would suggest you sample day 1 of the VBS program themes that interest you. You can sample each of the leader guides, music and videos. This should give you a good idea if our programs meet your specific needs for the preschoolers in your parish.

Day 4 Virtue Demo: ZEAL

You’ll need:

2 birthday sparklers
A wet cloth (to lay flat under lit sparkler)
Lighter

I am going to do a little demonstration about the virtue of zeal.

Ask:

Who can tell me what the word “zeal” means?

A strong desire and eagerness to do something good, when you are “all fired up” to do something good, etc.

Show sparkler. Does anyone know what this is? A birthday sparkler.

Can you please describe this sparkler, just the way it is?

Grey, dull, boring, not very attractive, etc.

It is not very exciting is it?

Now watch what happens when I light it up!

Demonstrate:

We are going to ignite this sparkler with a lighter, which represents the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us the zeal we need to spread our faith and sparkle the light of Christ to others.

Light up sparkler and while it burns, explain: What a difference! This is what zeal is like. When a person is filled with zeal, they look like this glowing sparkler. Your zeal for your faith is very exciting and it will help draw others to Jesus. Everyone will want what you have, and you will be so excited that you will want to share the joy of Christ with others.

Ask: What are some ways you can “sparkle” the love of Christ to others?

Being joyful, being excited about your faith, helping others, being kind and generous, encourage others, etc.

The Bible says: (show Bible) “Do not grow slack in zeal, be fervent in Spirit, serve the Lord.” Romans 12:11

Repeat after me: Lord Jesus…help us to have more zeal for you…and to sparkle and spread your light to others... Amen!
